DineDrop Legal

Rider Terms

Effective 27 July 2026

These terms apply to approved DineDrop delivery riders.

Eligibility and safety

  • Provide genuine identity, phone, vehicle and licence information.
  • Maintain a lawful, roadworthy vehicle and required licence or insurance.
  • Follow traffic, safety and access rules and never deliver while impaired.

Assignments

Only accept jobs you can complete safely and promptly. Confirm pickup only after receiving the correct sealed order. Mark delivered only after handing the order to the customer or completing an approved contactless delivery.

Customer information

Customer phone and address details are confidential and may be used only to complete the assigned delivery. Riders must not retain, share or misuse this information.

Food handling

  • Use a clean delivery bag.
  • Keep orders upright and protected from contamination, rain and heat.
  • Do not open, consume, alter or combine customer orders.

Earnings

Rider earnings are calculated per completed delivery according to the current DineDrop tier shown in the rider dashboard. Cancelled, fraudulent or incomplete jobs may not qualify. Adjustments must be recorded with a reason.

Cash handling and settlement

Where cash collection is enabled, the rider holds collected customer money on behalf of DineDrop or the restaurant and must settle it according to the Admin Operations Centre procedure. Personal use of collected cash is prohibited.

Incidents and delays

Report accidents, damaged orders, unreachable customers, incorrect addresses and severe delays immediately. Do not independently refund customers or promise compensation.

Suspension

DineDrop may suspend a rider for unsafe conduct, fraud, cash shortages, false status updates, repeated lateness, customer harassment or misuse of personal information.

These policies are operational launch documents and should be reviewed by a qualified Maldives legal adviser as DineDrop grows.
